Karioke evening small cozy pub massive Sunday roast
Dreary, tired decor and not particularly welcoming. Zero character and a feeble choice of beer. No parking. Uncomfortable seating. Really not interested in anyone but a few relates it seems. Three people in on a Saturday night days it all.

A lovely roast beef and pork Sunday lunch. Friendly staff and a warm greeting. I thoroughly recommend the Royal Exchange - the cauliflower cheese is truly amazing.
My family and I went for the first time on Father's Day, There were 5 of us. We had a little wait while they got our table ready as soon as we sat down we were expecting quite a wait for the meal to come but within 5 minutes it all arrived and there was loads to eat , a choice of three meats chicken, lamb or beef and five different veg. It was very tasty, couldn't fault it.Would definitely go back. the waitresses were lovely and kept checking if we were happy and if we needed more.
